This privacy notice for wlannet ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share your information when you use our services — including our website, purchases, and customer support. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Services. Questions? Contact us at support@wlannet.com.

1.Summary of key points

  • What we collect: account info (email), order details, and payment metadata processed by our payment provider.
  • Sensitive info: we do not process sensitive personal information.
  • Third parties: we do not buy your data from third parties.
  • How we use it: to deliver your purchases, run the Services, communicate with you, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
  • Your rights: depending on your region, you can access, correct, or delete your data — contact us to exercise these rights.

2.What information do we collect?

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you register, purchase, or contact us — primarily your email address and information needed to deliver your order.

Payment data. Payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). We do not store full card details on our servers. See your provider's privacy notice for how they handle payment data.

All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.

3.How do we process your information?

We process your information to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Deliver your purchased products and license keys.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Send transactional and administrative communications.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and chargebacks.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5.When and with whom do we share information?

We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the Services (payment processor, email/transactional delivery, hosting/CDN, fraud prevention), and only under contract.

We may also share data in connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition), or where required by law.

6.How long do we keep your information?

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. tax, accounting). When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7.How do we keep your information safe?

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You access the Services at your own risk and should use a secure environment.

8.Do we collect information from minors?

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will deactivate the account and delete the data.

9.What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your region (EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada, California, and others), you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of your personal data.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email support@wlannet.com. If you are in the EEA/UK and believe we are processing data unlawfully, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10.Do Not Track

Most browsers offer a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") setting. No uniform standard for DNT has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted, we will update this notice.

11.US state privacy rights

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Virginia, you have additional rights including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of your personal data. We do not sell your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact support@wlannet.com.

12.Third-party websites

Our Services may link to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or policies of those sites — please review them separately.

13.Updates to this notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version is indicated by a new "Last updated" date and is effective as soon as it is posted.

14.How can you contact us?

Questions or requests about this notice? Email support@wlannet.com.

15.Cookie policy

We use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, secure your account, and analyze how the site is used. You can control cookies via your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Services.
